Hi All,
Please assist me in where to find the (NPS Restart )/ nzstop or nzstart Log in NPS Version 4.0.2 ?
Thanks,
Mohamed
Mohamed,
First you need to look at sysmgr logs (/nz/kit/log/sysmgr/sysmgr.log). This captures all hardware actovities in NPS. Along with this you need to check other logs to know the cause of restart.
If you could past the part of sysmgr logs durring restart, it will help to know more about root cause.

Hi Ambarish thanks for the quick response. your reponse helped a lot to check the Log.
I checked out the sysmgr logs (/nz/kit/log/sysmgr/sysmgr.log) for all the hardware activities in NPS. what are the other logs I have to check for to identify the root cause of a system restart that happened on its own?
Thanks,
Mohamed
Mohamed,
You can check pg.log and dbos.log for any query/database related crash. The bootsvr and eventmgr along with sysmgr logs will help to know hardware related crash.
Feel free to ditectly contact if need more help.

Mohammed,
Your probably referencing an table or alias that does not exist. Are you using NZPLSQL? If so... confirm the objects exist or a referenced correctly.
