Netezza Disk Error

I've encountered the following error while executing SQL queries a couple of times.

 

ERROR:  23 : spu 10.0.15.4 disk error DISK_BLOCK_VERIFY_ERROR at 257208837

 

I'd appreciate if anyone could let me know what this error exactly signifies and the solution to rectify it. The NPS version we're running is 4.5.2

I'd advise logging an issue with Netezza, it appears to be a problem with that spu.  One of your DBAs should be able to just force that SPU to failover to a backup for a more immediate fix as well.

If I may digress a li'l bit, is there any Netezza document available which enlists all the DB errors, their codes and reasons?

The Netezza documentation set does not include an error message manual.
